NIVEA Men's Sensitive Post Shave Balm Review

Top Ten Affordable Makeup Product Review. Unless you're aware of the trend of using mens aftershave started by NikkieTutorials; some of you may be really confused as to why this was #1 on my Most Affordable Makeup Products List.

Once the amazing NikkieTutorials figured out that using Nivea Men's Sensitive Post Shave Balm worked as an incredible makeup primer, everyone was jumping on board to try it, as was I. Andddd it was just as bomb as she said it was.

First of all this product is only $6.49, you can't beat that. Compared to other high-end primers which are around $35.00 or more, this works just as well, even better. When I first used this product I was in love. The first thing I did was make sure I shook the bottle well before applying it. The product is a white liquid texture, that you only need a small amount of. I rubbed a little between my fingers before applying it, to warm the product before applying it as my base.

Once I applied a thin layer all over my face, I noticed it having a tacky feeling, which was great for my makeup to stick too. My makeup applied really nice and smoothly. My skin had a just a little bit of a glow to it as well, which I liked. I have very dry sensitive skin, and this actually helped my skin by adding moisture, and did not irritate my skin or break me out, such a plus!

The real test was how long my makeup stayed. I was amazed that my blush, which usually fades the fastest, was still there 5 hours into the wear of my makeup. My makeup looked almost as good by the end of he day as it did when I first applied it in the morning. I have been using this product everyday since I bought it last year, and it still is just as good as it was the first time I used it. It also lasts FOREVER. There are honestly are no cons to this product whatsoever. The only thing to be aware of that might bother some people was the smell, it does have a boy scent to it at first (Which I weirdly kind of liked!) But it does completely go away after you apply your makeup. Overall I give this product an A+.
