Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder

Top Ten Affordable Makeup Product Review.

This powder is my favorite matte powder ever! I have very dry skin and have a hard time wearing matte face products because they cling to my dry skin, making it look cakey and not cute. This powder has never enhanced my dry skin or has ever looked cakey, but still does its job by staying matte!

I use this product for my under eye area, as well as my T-zone. It sets my concealer beautifully and, and keeps it from creasing throughout the day. Although my skin is dry, my T-zone tends to get oily throughout the day (it's a weird combo). I use a fluffy brush and place this product on my forehead and down the bridge of my nose to keep it from getting shiny.

Oh AND this product is only $5 AND comes in 8 different shades! Life is good, shades:

  • Transparent
  • Natural
  • Sandstorm
  • Silky Beige
  • Creamy Natural
  • Buff Beige
  • Creamy Beige
  • Nude Beige

I have the colors Transparent and Sandstorm. I prefer the shade Sandstorm because transparent is a little too light for my skin tone (my skin is usually a medium shade with neutral undertones). The Transparent shade can be useful if you want more of a highlighted area, or even as a base for your eyeshadow to make the rest of your shadow colors pop. But Sandstorm is my trusty go-to. It makes my skin matte but yet still natural, I'm obsessed. My favorite thing about this product is that I can use as much as I want and it does not cake up! Throughout the day if you're getting a little oily, use this product as a touch-up and you're good to go.

As I stated earlier about the Rimmel Bronzer, the packaging is not ideal. It is pretty cheap plastic, my top actually cracked in half. But the product itself you can't beat, so I can overlook the packaging flow, especially for the price.

I'm not the only one who loves this powder, check out these reviews:
