This a beautiful coral shade. Except I was surprised to see that they described it as a smooth matte finish on the cheeks, because when I did a fi

nger swatch there were definitely some shimmer to the pigment. Maybe once its blended into the checks though it is smoothed into a matte finish. Overall, it seems very blendable and gorgeous. Here's swatches so you can see the color and shine that I'm talking about.

ModelCo|CONTOUR STICK

Description:

Incredibly creamy formula blends seamlessly into skin, so we can get the perfectly sculpted features we were meant to be born with. Smooth and lightweight enough to wear over foundation.Easy does it. Simple-to-use stick, so even contouring novices can apply with complete precision. Goes all day—and all night, with a long-lasting and even finish.

My first impression:

Not a fan. Although this is very creamy, it's not really a good contour shade for me. It has a more red-ish brown undertone to it, rather than the typical cool brown that's best for contouring and imitating your shadows. An idea I had for this product is using it as an eyeshadow base, because the color is really nice, just not for the face.

pūr~lisse|Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer

purlisse
purlisse

Description:

The anti-inflammatory properties of the Blue Lotus date back to Ancient Greece and Homer’s Lotus Eaters (who lived off of the tranquil plants). White tea and vitamin E help prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Absorbs and hydrates quickly, so we look dewy in an instant

My first impression:

This seems like a really nice moisturizer that I'm excited to try out. I have very dry skin, but can get oily in the T-zone area, so I'm curious to see how it works with my dry, but sometimes oily combo skin. Also, what intrigues me most is the benefits of the white tea and vitamin E to help prevent fine lines and wrinkles..hmm wondering if that's too good to be true, or actually that magical and amazing. If you've tried this product let me know what you think! (Or let me know if you want an update review on this product!)

Too Faced|Better Than Sex Mascara

Description:

Big. Bigger. Biggest. The hourglass-shaped wand grabs onto every single lash while the collagen-infused formula gives us a dramatic va-va-va volume effect.Back in black. Unique peptides produce the deepest noir-worthy shade. One-swipe wonder. A single coat creates both length and curl. Long-distance winner. Film-forming polymers ensure smudge-proof, all-day wear.

My first impression:

I've tried this mascara before, so it's technically not a first impression. But, I do love this mascara! It makes me lashse very long and luscious! It's also very dark, which I love. The wand really separates each one of your lashes, even the ones you didn't think were there! This mascara is great for those who want bold lashes without that clumpy look some mascaras give off. One flaw I did notice about this product is that if you reaallly layer it, it can get a wee bit flaky by the end of the day. Overall, this mascara is really great and is something you should most definitely check out!

EYEKOEyeko|Skinny Liquid Eyeliner deluxe in Black

liner
liner

Description:

The super skinny tip of this easy-to-apply liquid pen makes it easy to create fine lines or thick-winged fantasies, and everything in between.Electric glide. Goes on evenly over eyeshadow. In it for the long haul. Sodium hyaluronate makes the pitch-black color last. Won’t budge. Smudge-proof, even on the waterline.

My first impression:

Obsessed. I usually prefer gel liners over liquid, but this felt tip liquid liner looks extremely promising. It is soo black, yay! It seems really easy to apply and swatched beautifully just on my hand. It also was very hard to remove from my hand, which makes me think that'll last all day on the eye without smudging, smearing, and fading. Really excited about this product, and thinking about buying the full size liner!Very happy about my ipsy bag this month!! What did you get in yours?! xoxo Lou
