Too Faced Hangover Primers Review

Is your skin extra dry during the winter months? Use this product. Is your skin a little dull after pulling that all nighter to finish that research paper? Use this product. Is your skin looking tired and dehydrated after you and your girlfriends danced a little and drank a lot the night before? Use this product.

Too Faced has two hangover primers, the original Hangover Replenishing Face Primer and the newer Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray. I've used both products and you can't go wrong with either. It's the same product but one is in a tube and is more like a lotion primer and one is in a spray bottle. Get whichever product you like to apply primer best with, it's all about preference!

This product is said to be a replenishing face primer that hydrates, smoothes, and brightens skin for a dewy, healthy looking finish. These claims really are so true! I have dry to combination skin and this product is perfect for me. I love dewy and glowy skin but hate looking oily, and this primer lets me achieve this look.

Your skin extra dry during the winter months? Use this product. Your skin a little dull after pulling that all night to finish that research paper? Use this product. Your skin looking tired and dehydrated after you and your girlfriends danced a little and drink a lot the night before? Use this product.  This product will cure all of these problems because it's infused with coconut water, a pro-biotic-based ingredient, and skin revivers which work together to boost skin’s radiance, promote elasticity, and help hydrate while locking down makeup for a fresher and more flawless wear.

I love both products as primers, and primers ONLY! I used the setting spray as a setting spray once, and it did NOT go well. It sprays too thick and heavy and did not set my makeup well. I love when my setting sprays have a very fine mist that spreads evenly across this face. This spray is intense to say the least, which is why I love it as a primer! I love to prime my face with it because my skin feels soo hydrated once the product is on my skin. It's like I dosed my skin in heavenly coconut water. If you want a setting spray with a great mist go for the Urban Decay Setting Sprays or the Kat Von D Setting Spray. The Too Faced Setting Primer is suppose to be a pick me up refresher throughout the day (I didn't even try this since I hated setting my makeup with it). If you want a refresher throughout the day, opt for the Mario Badescu skin care facial spray in either Rose Water Or Cucumber Water.

Both products are $32.00, but the spray comes with more product. The lotion primer is 1.45 oz while the spray is 4 oz. I think this is because of the fact that the spray is suppose to used for priming, refreshing, and setting your makeup.

Final thoughts: Pros: Gives your skin hydration while leaving a healthy glowing finish. It's also a bit tacky once it's set into this skin, which really lets your makeup stick to the primer! This primer also smells amazing!! I'm obsessed with the fresh coconut scent! It's not too strong or irritating for my sensitive skin which I love!

Cons: Does not fill in pores or smooth lines (Not that it claims too but it's always nice when primers do this). I also do not think it made my makeup last any longer. I wouldn't call it a long lasting 24 hour primer. If you need your makeup to lock in and last all day/night, use the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

Tips: Since this product is said to have skin revivers in it, add a little under your eyes to brighten that area up before adding concealer.

Overall I give this product an A+! I hope you liked this review, please like and comment if you did!
